Allscripts is a global IT solutions company linking healthcare communities to share Precision Medicine, Electronic Health Records, Population Health Management and Financial Management. Allscripts relocated their Raleigh, NC. Operation to a newly constructed 11 story tower in mid-town Raleigh and occupied the first nine floors totaling nearly 200,000 square-feet. The Class A office space was outfitted with executive/staff offices, open offices, meeting / conference space throughout each floor. Premiere’s scope included the installation of a 10G OM3 fiber from the core to (9) IDF rooms. Allscripts installed a robust Cat6 copper structured cabling system throughout their facility totaling 2,111 dual network outlets and 174 wireless access points that were installed utilizing Cat6A. In addition to the Copper/Fiber infrastructure, Premiere was contracted to provide all AV cabling infrastructure which included a total of 160 network drops and 80 RG 6 quad-shield cables. All work was completed on budget and on schedule with a 120 day turn from start to completion. This project was a great success largely in part to the dedication of our field project team, Allscripts IT team, and the excellent coordination of schedule provided by McDonald York!
