Siemon helps Jacob Holm get up and running on schedule
 
Jacob Holm - Jacob Holm picked Asheville, North Carolina as the home for its first US based Manufacturing Facility. Siemon partnered with one of our longstanding CI's - "Premiere Communications & Consulting" to provide a design built solution that was within Jacob Holm's budget and met fully their infrastructure requirements. Siemon was invited to participate in the design build on March 30th 2005, and Jacob Holm had to have their inital manfuacturing lines up and running by May 20th. The design had to include special consideration for extended distances due to open ceilings (40ft high) in the manufacturing portion of the facility. Strategic placement of IDF's was crucial to provide accurate coverage. Also, Siemon had to figure out how to provide a temporary building entrance / MDF to support manufacturing, until the administative building comes on line later in 2005. This piece of the design was created so that the cutover of the admin building would cause minimal disruption to production. Siemon won the job due to design support, inclusive product offering, and the working relationship with our Certified Installer. Siemon Certified Installers used Siemon MAX Cat6 outlets, HD6 patch Panels, Cat6 patch to install over 400 drops.
