Objectives
Sysco needed a cost-effective, low-voltage wiring solution to support a fully operational distribution warehouse. The company selected Premiere based on contractor qualifications, cost, planning and scheduling and references.
Solution
A Qualified Systems Designer assigned to the project evaluated the RFP, drafted it per customer specifications and provided the labor and materials for a successful project; including the installation of Horizontal and Backbone - Siemon Cabling System 25-year warranty - Premium Category 5e and Siemon LightSystem®. 8 IDF rooms connected with 12-strand 50/125 µm multimode fiber Paging - Valcom 3 Zone Paging System with 140 Horn Speakers in Warehouse and Freezers.
Results
Sysco has a structured cabling system completed on-time and within budget. They will serve area restaurants, hospitals, schools, retirement homes and hotels as their core business. Premiere has provided a service enabling Sysco to monitor product flow in and out of their facility with the assurance of performance and reliability that they expect.
The Last Word
Since the successful completion of this project, Premiere has partnered with Sysco and their distribution facilities in Tennessee and Texas. Sysco tasked Premiere to manage subcontractors installing Security and A/V systems at the TN and TX sites. Providing certified structured cabling systems helps Premiere with its goal to build relationships with existing customers in supporting their information transport systems requirements.
