The triangle's agribusiness sector got a boost when Syngenta expanded its presence at One Park in RTP. The leased space warranted a cost-effective solution to support VoIP.

Objectives

Syngenta's biotechnology research and development was in need of additional laboratory space at its Cornwallis headquarters. The administrative staff, moving to One Park, required a product line to support a VoIP converged solutions platform. Backed by Commscope Labs, Premiere installed a cost-effective quality Uniprise® Category 5e end-to-end channel structured cabling system.

Solution

One of the (7) BICSI RCDD's from Premiere designed and estimated the Uniprise® Category 5e channel solution; all cabling and components installed supported by a 15-year manufacturer warranty.

Results

The customer expectations were exceeded and now Premiere is cabling Syngenta headquarters on Cornwallis Road in RTP. The Premiere team is working with Syngenta on a Time and Materials basis to support the physical layer cable plant at Cornwallis and One Park. This included moves, adds and changes; and support or priority tickets initiated through the Syngenta helpdesk.
