$33,000 Raised at Camp Royall Classic Golf Tournament to Help Autism in North Carolina

Premiere Communications and Consulting doesn’t miss an opportunity to support the Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC) and its mission to improve the lives of individuals with autism in North Carolina.

On May 7, Premiere was the presenting sponsor for the Camp Royall Classic golf tournament at the Governors Club in Chapel Hill. The cadre of five teams, led by Matt Knowles, director of sales & marketing, enjoyed a pleasantly cool day on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course followed by all the barbecue they could eat.

Much to their surprise, the fearsome foursome of George Demartz, Ralph Nee, Curtis Scott, and Frank Cullen even took first place!

Most importantly, the event raised more than $33,000 to send children and adults to Camp Royall, the nation’s largest and oldest camp for individuals with autism. It also was a great chance to introduce more people to ASNC’s mission and share with them the needs of families who have loved ones with autism.

Just a week and a half earlier, five of Premiere’s dedicated staff members spent most of the day at Camp Royall to build and install a new boat storage area. They also helped to troubleshoot a phone issue and put up fence panels for the horse riding area.

Whether it is through a fun event or hands-on projects, Premiere is always ready to back Camp Royall’s campers and the Autism Society of North Carolina.
